Projectile Weapons

.50 Cal.

Available on:

This is the primary heavy gun, that fires ammo in 3-round bursts. It has a good balance between range, firing speed, and firepower. When used by infantry it is typically a tripod mount, but it can also be mounted on vehicles and on buildings.

Autocannon

Available on:

This is a self-loading small-bore cannon. It has a relatively low rate of fire, but the explosive nature of the projectiles can lay waste to buildings, vehicles, or infantry units.

Gaussgun

Available on:

A gauss gun is a larger, more powerful auto-cannon that uses charged electromagnetic coils to fire the shell at a high rate of speed. They pose a serious threat to vehicles and buildings alike. They deal a large amount of damage, but due to the charge of the coils, they have a somewhat slower rate of fire than the Auto Cannon.

Rocket Pod

Available on:

The missile podserves as both the protective case and launcher system for missile of various types and sizes. Mobile missile pods are vehicle mounted and can be launched from anywhere.

Railgun

Available on:

The Rail Gun fires an inert, heavy metal projectile at hypersonic velocity by creating and controlling an electromagentic field. This weapon doesn't cause massive explosions like conventional weapons, but it's armor piercing ability is unparalled.

Assault Rifle

Available on:

The assault rifle is the quintisential infantry weapon, with a history going back millenia. It's high rate of fire makes it a preferred choice for anti-infantry uses, but the small projectile size can be ineffective against larger targets.

Full Auto

Available on:

This is the Squad Automatic Weapon. It's a heavy machine gun that has the same high-rate of fire as the Assault Rifle, but it fires a slightly larger bullet, making it very effective against lightly armored vehicles as well. It can also be mounted to vehicles as an effective anti-personnel gun.

Handgun

Available on:

This is the staple of anti-personnel defense. It's a small, combat pistol that is easily carried and concealed on a person, useful in close quarters situations. While it can deal moderate damage to infantry units, it's range and ammo is limited and it is all but useless against any kind of vehicle.

Minigun

Available on:

This gun is a heavier version of the Full Auto Rifle. It's 8-gun rotating barrels deliver a steady stream of .50 caliber ammuinition capable of obliterating infantry units, small vehicles, and small buildings.

Semi Auto

Available on:

This weapon is a small weapon used by scout units and vehicle crews. It has more range and ammo than a handgun, but is still primarily used as an anti-infantry weapon. It's useful when in close quarters.

Shotgun

Available on:

The shotgun is one of the oldest types of firearms. It fires a spread of low-damage projectiles over a large area.

Sniper Rifle

Available on:

The Sniper Rifle is a high powered, long-range, semi-automatic weapon that is very useful for anti-infantry and use against light vehicles. It has a slow rate of fire and limited ammo, but it deals a significant amount of damage.

Energy Weapons

Plasma Cannon

Available on:

The plasma cannon is one of the most devastating weapons available! It will quickly wear down even the strongest shields and does significant damage to sensitive internal components.

Flamethrower

Available on:

This is a close-quarters weapons that inflicts massive amounts of heat damage to nearby infantry and light vehicle units. It has a limited amount of fuel and can be ignited by enemy fire. It requires the unit to get close in order to use it, but the flame thrower's thermal damage ignores shielding.
